In a large bowl, whip the cream until almost firm and soft peaks start to form on the surface.

When you reach this texture, gradually add the ice cream mix. Using a hand-held electric mixer, continue mixing until you have a smooth and homogeneously blended mixture.

Add the pistachio spread - I recommend using the whole jar for the full experience. The spread will add a rich pistachio flavour and silky texture to the ice cream.

To add a crunch to the ice cream, stir in pistachio nuts. These will provide a nice textural variety and bring out the pistachio flavour even more.

Place the pistachio ice cream in the freezer for at least 40 minutes.
