  • 400 ml of milk for the cream
  • 100 g BAM Vanilla cream
  • 500 g flour
  • 50 g fresh yeast or 2 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 250 ml of milk for the dough
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon BAM Vanilla sugar

Instructions:

For Christmas doughnuts with vanilla cream:

Mix 400 ml of milk with 100 g of BAM Vanilla Cream. Place the cream in the fridge for at least two hours.

In a small bowl, mix the fresh yeast with 250 ml of milk and a tablespoon of sugar. Leave to rise in a warm place.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, remaining sugar, BAM Vanilla Sugar with real vanilla, a pinch of salt and grated lemon zest. Add the melted butter, egg yolks, risen yeast and remaining milk. Knead into a smooth dough. Add a little flour if necessary. The dough should be soft and not too sticky.

On a floured surface, roll out the dough for the doughnuts and use the moulds of your choice.

Let the doughnuts rise, covered, for another hour.

Fill the fried doughnuts with vanilla cream and decorate with BAM White Chocolate.
