I suggest that you do not go hungry looking for chocolate brownie recipes.


This time, we have not added baking powder or baking soda to the recipe. This way, we'll create genuinely chocolate brownies that are as dense and luscious as if you were eating chocolate itself. We have used BAM dark chocolate, which adds just the right bitter cocoa flavour to the chocolate brownies.


BAM tip: chocolate brownies take about 30 minutes to bake. As soon as you smell chocolate in your kitchen, use a toothpick to check if the brownies are already baked, even if they have only been in the oven for 25 minutes. If you find a few brownie pieces on the toothpick, they are baked. In this case, you do not want the toothpick to be completely dry, as the brownies will not be as juicy. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a 20 cm square baking tray with baking paper.

Melt half of the chocolate and save the other half for later.

In a large bowl, combine the butter and sugar with an electric hand mixer, then add the eggs and vanilla paste and mix until you have a fluffy mixture.

Stir in the melted chocolate (make sure it's not too hot), then sift in the flour, cocoa powder and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet, being careful not to over-mix, as this will give the brownie a firmer texture.

Add the dark chocolate you haven't melted and then transfer the dough to the prepared baking tray. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy!
